Kasspian vs RedShip

RedShip does one job. Kasspian does a different one.

A Reddit thread finder. Give it your website and it finds the threads where people are already asking for what you sell, scores them 0 to 100 and suggests replies.

Every figure below was read from RedShip’s own site on 15 October 2026. Check it before you buy, prices move.

Side by side

The actual difference

RedShip

RedShip is the closest tool to Kasspian on this list: both start from your website, both find threads where people ask for what you sell, both check daily and both leave the posting to you. RedShip goes further on Reddit-as-search: threads ranking on Google, AI answer tracking, an API and an MCP server, at a low price.

Kasspian

Kasspian goes further on the two ends of the reply. Before it: every room comes with a read of its self-promotion rules and what its moderators actually remove, so you know whether a mention will survive. After it: every reply is tracked to an answer or a sale, and Results shows which rooms turned into revenue. It also looks beyond Reddit, at Hacker News and other forums.

Be honest

Use RedShip, not Kasspian, when

  • You want the cheapest way in. A $12 seven-day pass, then $29 a month, is less than Kasspian's paid plans.
  • You care about Reddit threads that rank on Google and about tracking AI answer visibility; both are in RedShip's plans and Kasspian has neither.
  • You want an API or MCP server to pipe threads into your own tools.

The other way

Use Kasspian when

  • You have been removed before and want each room's rules read before you reply, with a disclosed reply written to fit them.
  • You want to know which replies became customers, not just which threads you answered.
  • Your buyers also ask on Hacker News or forums outside Reddit.

Describe your business and read the answer before you pay anything. Free tier, no card, and the rooms come with whether you are allowed to post in them.

Questions

Questions

How much does RedShip cost?
Its own pricing page listed Founder at $29/mo and Company at $49/mo when this page was checked, with no free trial but a 7-day pass for $12.
Does RedShip post for me?
No. RedShip says it does not post or send DMs for you, on purpose, though its Chrome extension helps you send replies and DMs semi-automatically from Reddit. Kasspian does not post for you either.
What does Kasspian do that RedShip does not?
It reads each room's self-promotion rules before you reply, covers Hacker News and other forums as well as Reddit, and tracks every reply to an answer or a sale. What it lacks is RedShip's Google-ranking thread scan, AI visibility tracking and API.
