Churn is why the weekly number is bigger than it looks.
- The total. Your target MRR divided by what one customer pays, rounded up. $10,000 at $29 is 345.
- The pace. Each month some customers leave, so you win more than the gap. The planner finds the steady monthly pace that lands on the total by your date.
- The conversations. New customers a week divided by your two rates. The defaults are guesses; your own numbers make it real.
The method in full: How many customers you need to reach your MRR goal.
Turn the number into this week's conversations
Kasspian's Growth plan keeps this goal, finds the threads where people are already asking for what you sell, writes the replies with you and counts every one that turns into a customer.

Questions
How many customers do I need to reach $10k MRR?
$10,000 divided by what one customer pays a month, rounded up. At $29 a month that is 345 customers, at $49 it is 205, at $99 it is 102 and at $299 it is 34. Churn does not change the total, but it raises how many you must win each month to get there, because some of the customers you win leave along the way.
How do I count churn in an MRR goal?
Win more than the gap each month. If 5% of customers leave every month, part of each month's new customers only replaces the ones who left. Starting from zero with six months to reach 345 customers, that is about 66 new a month rather than 58. This planner works out the exact pace for your churn, your date and your starting point.
How many sales conversations do I need a week?
New customers a week divided by your conversation to trial rate and your trial to paid rate. If 25% of conversations become a trial and 40% of trials pay, one customer takes 10 conversations, so 16 new customers a week takes about 160 conversations. Use your own rates once you have them; the defaults here are guesses.
What if my MRR goal is unreachable?
If churn is at 100% a month, every customer you win leaves within the month and no pace builds to the goal. The planner says so. Short of that, any goal is reachable on paper, so read the weekly numbers honestly: if the conversations a week are far beyond what you can hold, move the date, raise the price or fix churn first.
Is this MRR calculator free?
Yes, free and no signup. The maths runs in your browser and nothing is stored. Kasspian's Growth plan keeps the same goal and runs each week toward it, finding the people asking and writing the replies.
